Ambassadors

Since it was founded in 1959, in addition to its various human and educational objectives achieved, the Harmonie Jeunesse has reached out both to its community in Granby and outside of it. It has been an ambassador for Granby and the regional community, Quebec and Canada

“Harmonie Jeunesse holds alive the torch of culture in our city. They are our city’s AMBASSADORS, carrying out our message in a way understood by all”. (City Council, 983)

Harmonie Jeunesse is present and active at the local level. It can, based on availability, respond to local organizations (schools, social, recreational, cultural, sport and even religious) requesting its participation. The Harmonie Jeunesse can provide mood music for concerts, luncheons, galas, festivals, openings, exhibitions, presentations, field days, religious celebrations, etc.

To this day, at the invitation of various organizations, Harmonie Jeunesse has appeared in over 20 municipalities in the region. 

* Since its foundation, Harmonie Jeunesse has performed in over 60 municipalities throughout Quebec.    

* Two television shows with Radio-Québec 

* Since 1984, Harmonie Jeunesse has participated in MusicFest Québec first at the 300 level (senior High School) where it has received numerous Gold seals. 

* Since 1991, we have competed at the 400 level (concentration) hand have won Silver and Gold seals.
